Every December, Lost Hills Park transforms into a winter wonderland for the annual Holiday Lights Festival. Now in its ninth year, the event remains a beloved tradition where residents and families come together for a magical evening that celebrates community, culture, and the spirit of giving.
More than 500 attendees enjoyed this year’s festival, which featured special performances from Wonderful College Prep Academy’s Mariachi bands from Delano and Lost Hills. The event also included a delicious pozole contest where residents showcased cherished family recipes. Fun activity stations, including photos with Santa, face painting, and a petting farm, ensured family-friendly entertainment for all ages.
We love watching all the performances and seeing the children’s excitement and hard work shine through. It fills us with pride to say, ‘Those are our kids representing Wonderful College Prep Academy in our little town of Lost Hills.’

For the residents of Lost Hills, decorating their homes with festive lights and holiday décor is more than just a contest — it’s a heartfelt expression of creativity and pride that lights up the entire town.
This event is a beautiful reminder of our community’s spirit and unity. Whether it’s through the joy of participating or cheering on the incredible talent around us, it’s a moment to feel proud and connected as a community.
